We’ve initiated a cross-business Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, with the goal of finding better ways to grow our business, develop our projects, and strengthen the communities in which we live and work.

We’ve initiated a cross-business Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, with the goal of finding better ways to grow our business, develop our projects, and strengthen the communities in which we live and work.

Environmental stewardship. We’re committed to reducing the environmental impact of our projects, and steadily minimizing the environmental footprints of our buildings over time. We review third-party environmental certification programs, and apply them based on their fit and application to our specific projects. We’re working to ensure local suppliers are provided an opportunity to quote on local projects. And we provide our team members with incentives that will reduce our personal carbon footprints.


Social responsibility. We recognize our responsibility to our community goes beyond the projects we build. We encourage fair hiring and fair wages from our trades, our suppliers, and our client partners. We work to include affordable or social housing in all our residential buildings, in an effort to create communities that are more inclusive and more livable. And we support a number of worthy causes helping to solve environmental and social challenges throughout the regions in which we work.

Governance. Our Ethics & Conduct policy protects and nurtures our company’s reputation for top-quality work from top-quality people. Over the longer term, our goal is to ensure questionable practices are completely removed from our work environment. We remain committed to employing more women and bringing ethnically diverse talent to our business. With our donations and political lobbying, our aim is to be clear and transparent in everything we do, and align our efforts with our corporate values.
